Arise

Helena has been co-ordinating for the UK. To find out how to take part, access resources or plan your Arise prayer day, head to our Arise page by clicking the image on the left.
Conferences
Pebbles, Soul Survivor, 2011
Helena has served, co-led, led or co-ordinated at a variety of different children's ministries and conferences such as Spring Harvest, Soul Survivor, Like No Other (Children's Prayer Network), and a plethora of YWAM gatherings and conferences in various countries around the world. She loves to teach creatively, as well as giving lots of space for the children to experience their Maker and know Him more. She is available to serve on or lead teams at conferences or church events.
Speaking/teaching
Helena is also available to speak to youth groups, youth weekends away, youth missions or children's ministries, children's prayer groups and weekends. She likes to be as creative as possible, engaging with all learning styles but also allow children and young people to have access to the reality of a life lived for Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Mums the word
Mum's the Word is a children's clothing charity based in King's Cross in London giving clothes to vulnerable children in the UK and overseas. Helena has been heading up the London referrals unit for the last year - co-ordinating the giving of clothes and equipment to vulnerable families in London. While generous donors send items to the warehouse in King's Cross, Helena and her team compile the referrals from social workers, health visitors and other front-line professionals before carefully hand picking items for each child in need and delivering or arranging collections. An exciting recent development is the creation of a 'boutique' in the same building giving families the opportunity to 'shop' for items as well as receive further support (befriending, counselling, advice) through local link charities.
